Title: '79/'80 RM 400 Connecting rod

Hi all, I'm looking for a connecting rod for my '79 RM 400. There was someone last year selling billet rods from Australia (i believe), but I can't locate that person now. Would anyone know who that person is and how I could contact them? I know I've read on this forum that a KTM 380 rod will work, but the KTM rod measures 135mm and the RM's measures 136mm. If anyone knows of any other make of rod that would work, I would appreciate your help.

Hi Ralph,

sorry about the lack of responses, may just be none for sale though! Do a search on here and you might find some info for it . I'd be trying places like Vintage Suzuki and Ebay USA etc as your best source, SOMEONE on here will be able to confirm what they are using if you do enough looking though, have a look at the 4675/500 conrod post, i just added dimensions for both those, see how close they are, you can use (apparently) the Ktm rod in them with some "mods" so might work in the 400 too ....

The billet rods are from NZ, look on trademe or ask Suzuki59 if he can give you contact details
