Title: aluminium radiator repairs

Not VMX but I've dinged the lower tank on my KTM. Any recommendations on repairers as there are none in Darwin

Shit thats a bummer brent :'( your new bike would still have that brand new smell.
Sorry dont know of any one down my way, but should be some one closer to you qld areas ;)
my bikes dont have those flashee radiator things ;D as you would know.
any way good luck with it ;) hey had a go at dirt track today for the first time went ok, a bloke i meet on a new ktm
tryed to over take me and me mate ,he came off bad the westpac chopper turned up and all :o

wow at that price complete with pressure cap and express post you wouldnt bother trying to fix the old rads ;D what amazes me is how can they produce them soo cheap since their saying there made in aussie as well

I've looked at them and the quality is great as well. They are made in China and posted from there.

I have fitted a set of those to my sons YZ 85 after he smashed the genuine unit, and I have to say they leave the standard units for dead, fit perfect, have a larger top and bottom tank (more coolant) and are made with thicker alloy.
Don't tell me youve layed down the Freeride  :o

Yeah not real happy Mick. All my riding buddies told me I needed to get a new bike. Get rid of the KTonda and buy something new they said, more reliable they said (although what could be more reliable than an XR200?) I was always wary of water cooled motors and their exposed radiators. The Freeride has the narrowest, most tucked in radiator I’ve seen apart from a trials bike but I managed to ding it!
The radiator was hit on the lower tank and pushed sideways, just enough to bend the front face of the lower tank where the mounts are welded on. There is a weep on the tank to core seam but the coolant level does not drop. Trouble is I know it won’t get better.

Lozza, being my usual luck the Freeride has a different radiator to all other KTM’s, thanks for trying. No after-market yet, $450 genuine. Other news, back to working on the TM this week! Five other bikes sold so more time and space.

EVO, Laid down the Freeride? what can I say, more times than fingers………………..

My bash plate has proved it’s worth and now I’ll be making a radiator guard

I have used Bikerads for repairs in Dandenong Vic with good results in the past,even though it does not say so i think this is them under a different name :)  http://raceradiators.com.au/

Brent just send a drawing or sample to 'radiator Warranty' on ebay they will copy or work from the drawing be less than $100 shipped
