I was traveling around to day and came across a chap who has a metal workshop in his moums front room, anyway point is this guy still makes steel liners,
I priced him on a 74 MXA barrel and he said $350 fitted, although he needs the barrel cause he hand cuts the ports from blue staining out the barrel , so they are made to fit exactly.
Last time i was able to find a sleave they were $400 unfitted and would still need the ort matched in.
So i was impressed with what he was saying and as he is doing it he is not limited on model offerings, cast iron was the dearest others even cheaper.
