$5,200 for a 74 (but I thought green tanks were 73)  and up to $6,000 for  Mugen '76 - that is serious money.  What is yours like Dave?  I am often tempted by a little elsinore and that Mugen seems just the ticket.

I think that's correct money for a bike like that, it is a classic and it looks great.  Anyone that thinks it's worth less needs to lift their bar; the hard work that goes into finding the parts and building the bike should be rewarded.

A rattly old shitbox is worth bugger-all but something cleaned-up has to worth its time & parts.

I do agree with john, my Elsinore 125, is clean enough to race as is, for $1850, thats what it owes me, to make the bike like that other one in for sale, you could spent another $2000. I bought a yz125a for $1850 not running, the engine was rooted, forks rusty, frame was rusty in selection, that bike owed me over $6000, and it was still not finished,  in the end in drained me and I old it for $4700., so I feel that my honda for $1850
is very cheap and a bargin.

I got my 250 in 73, and the 125 at the end of 73 both green tanks, the 125 would have been the start of the 74 models.
