Would anybody have an RM 465 and an RM 500 rod they could measure for me
I have a NOS rod i thought was for an RM 400 but its not ::)
I have feeling its RM 465 or RM 500 but would like to measure it against a known rod
Only marks on the rod are S7 ???

Hi mate, i should be able to get to my shed and measure both for you over the weekend if that will help, i'll measure centres, bore size and width but only have a digital vernier to do it.

Samarin do great products, price will be around 140-160 Euro for the complete kit(they are all around that price)

465 =
A = 136 mm centres
B = S/E ID 23mm
C = B/E ID 31mm
D = B/E width 21.90mm S/E width 22.00mm

Ok, new genuine rods both still in Suzuki packets..all measured with digital vernier.
465 rod marked 1421 on side.
Centre to centre 136.2mm
Little end i.d. 23mm
Big end i.d. 31mm
Width of b.e. & l.e. both same at 21.85mm
B.E. pin 25 o.d. & lenght of 69.9mm
B.E. bearing i.d. 25.2mm and 21.75 width. Cage itself, not roller i.d. if that makes sense.
500 rod marked 1422 on side
Centre to Centre 136.26mm
L.E. 23MM i.d.
B.E. 32.9MM i.d.
width L.E 21.9mm
width B.E. 24mm (wider than l.e.)
Big end pin 26mm x 69.9mm
b.e. bearing cage i.d. 26.9mm and width of cage at 23.7mm
Hope this helps. I dont have thrust washers for either to measure (nla) and dont have little end bearings as yet.
Cheers,
Kt.
