Hi to all past and present members,
just a short update on what Viper has planned for the 2013 season.
Shortly an all new website will be up and running with a dedicated Viper email address that i will access daily, a monthly newsletter with a variety of info for all to read, the race calendar is close to being finalised and will be sent out as soon as the last few races are confirmed. The committee of 2012 did a fantastic job of setting Viper up as its own club and identity which has made sure the club has a long and successful future in the sport. A few new classes were added and were well received, this years committee will concentrate on building the club up further from last year and our main aim is to bring back the enjoyment factor at our race meetings and our ride days that are planned.
The plan for this year is again a ride / registration day to start the year off, our race calendar will consist of 6 rounds at traditional Viper tracks with possibly one new venue, the year will then be finished off at the annual presentation day in November. Time to get those bikes out of the shed and prepare them for what is shaping up to be a fantastic 2013 Viper series.
Please feel free to use this email address [email protected] until the Viper one is up and running. Any questions regarding membership etc. please contact me and i will email the info to you.
Regards Peter Gruber
2013 Viper President.

Well done guys that banner looks grouse. Great to see you are getting out there
And as for Schworda's 400, I think I've got the fastest and best handling 400 going. And the story will be told at Viper round 1, and all arguments settled on who has the fastest 400: me, schworda or brockley
And by the way, I'm open for sledging - let the sledging begin!

Now that looks really pretty Mont ;D
We are off to help out at the Arenacross at the Island this weekend, hope you guys have a good one and get some great bargains ;D

How was the swapmeet guys ?
Bloody HUGE! I've never seen a swap-meet as big as that, never seen so much bike stuff for sale in one place before, and I only managed to do half of the place, next year I'll organize a mobility-scooter with a trailer ;-)

And Mr Davis, I will have no problems on the 400 tearing you a new one this season it has roughly double the power it did last year when I was in from of you anyway before the piston decided to exit stage front port!!

This is gunna be good ;).. Schworda just slung me a sly $fiddy to put a 78 tooth rear sprocket on, get the jump, cross your line and hold you off. He wants this bad.. He hired the ex weapon from Essendon for his "vitamin" advice too. :-\

Ok honey-bear or sweetie-badger or whatever you're calling yourself nowadays :o
I'm just gonna call you schworda
We'll sort this out when the gate drops at Ravenswood Viper: "when the gate drops the bullsh*t stops"
And as for paying someone to block me, they've gotta get in front of me first
And just for warm-ups, are you doing three bridges vinduro next weekend?

Roll up, roll up.... ;)
All i can say is glad that weekend is over,
bloody hot on Friday and no different on the Saturday.
Good turn up of Viper guys at the stand, some memberships were filled out and paid for on the spot and a lot of others took the forms with them. Lots of interest for the year ahead and some very keen riders waiting to get on the grid. I got around on the pushy for a couple of hours to have a look thru the bike section and some of the car section but i gotta say i didn`t see anything that grabbed my attention, i saw a lot of stuff that should never have been loaded onto a trailer but that`s just my opinion.
Good to see a big interest in Roscoes Suspension Service , it`s amazing how many guys never knew what can be done to improve their old bike suspension. All left the stand with a new outlook for their trusted rides. A steady stream of questions flowed both days and having the bikes on display drew a lot of attention from most walking past.
Well worth the effort in setting up the stand and putting up with the heat. Peter.

It was bloody hot alright! I assume you were swagging in the tent?! Yuk no escape we left Saturday Arvo and went back to motel and hit the pool with some refreshments.
400 shock is out and on its way in the morning. :)
