Post by: 211kawasaki on April 28, 2008, 02:06:47 pm
Why was there 3 RH250 and 1 RN400 Suzis, numerous other exotica but I didnt see one YZ250A all weekend at CD5. Might have missed one but they have become thin on the ground.

Where are they all????

No.9 (250) was unresto'd in the pits and ridden.

If there wasn't a 250a then more than likely not a 360a in sight either.

It was a bit weird WRT the bikes in attendance.

Several PEs, but not a single KDX (that I saw) and only a couple of XRs and ITs.

Evo-era KXs galore, but only a couple of silver-tank Elsinores.

Etc.

I dare say that a high proportion of exotica comes out for CD because it can be appreciated without being ridden. Not to mention that every RN/RH owner in the land probably wanted Joel Robert's signature on the fuel tank or number plate...
