Title: Full Width front hub.
Post by: mx250 on April 28, 2008, 12:35:34 pm
Rememeber this thread?

http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=2634.0

I put dibs on making a Yamaha YZ250  Torsten Hallman Replica. I got a suitable set of forks at CD 5 and I'm now looking for a front wheel/hub and backing plate).

I reckon a TM/RM 250 front wheel would do the job, the RM been particularly suitable. The CR250 Elsinore hub would be about right as well. But anything considered although I would want approximately the same size (what ya reckon, 6 inch dia.)

Either hub, hub/backing plate or complete wheel with  'mudcatcher'   ;) :) .

Does it look anything like this hub?

or is it the standard DT/RT1 7" hub?  Mudcatchers?

Bump.

The deal's off - still seeking a full width hub, bit bigger than AT/CT 1, bit smaller than DT/RT1. TM/RM.

Something like the TM looks just right....

Or the RM (looks ideal)....

Or maybe one of the small road bike...
