Anyone do a kit?
Does anyone other than DC make radiator shrouds at all?
Maier do both guards and side plates, but no front plate or radiator shrouds.
UFO do the front guard and front # plate, but nothing else.
VMX Racing appear to sell Maier bits, so no front plate or radiator shrouds.
Edit:
Are the radiator shrouds the same as an 84 CR125?
Is the seat cover the same as an 84 CR500?

Pity it wasn't a YZ Nathan, there are some cheap ones in the for sale section ATM :o
-
Shit, I obviously don't know the secret handshakes?
Let me try to guess...

Maier did make shrouds , not sure if they still do .I have some , they look different to stock , pretty trick , they are bigger overall.
-
Give Les a call. Do you not have any at all or just want some new ones? They are pretty durable plastics unlike the powdery Yamacrap. I think I have a second hand set if that's all you need. I will have a scrounge if that's the way you want to go.
More like this.

I've got usable shrouds, front number plate and rear guard, but the side covers are very average (cracks and bits cut out), and no front guard.
If I could buy a kit, I would just do that - but as it is, it's a toss up whether I can be bothered buying bits from all over the place, particularly if I'm still stuck with used shrouds.
I'll talk to Les and see whether the Maier shrouds are still available.

I'd just like to point out that it's "Honda loving nancy boys" - so I'm not a nancy boy until I love it.
And given my inability to find radiator shrouds and now rear spokes, I'm sure not loving it... >:(

Here's where it's up to, FWIW:

I bought a front guard as a new, genuine part for my incredibly slow-moving 87 CR125 project. I've been suspicious of the colour as it seems too pink and not orange enough, but I've also got a rear that's the same colour.
Today I put it on the 250:

(My frame is too orange, but note the colour difference between the guard and the back of the numberplate...).
::) / >:(

You want "flash red" panels and plastics Nathan. I bought a NOS front guard recently. Cheap too. It's good to have a bit of red, green or yellow in the shed to remind yourself how good Yamaha's are.
Cheers, Grahame
