Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a white IT250/465H (1981 US Model) headlight.
I know they're like rocking horse poo, but I've just bought a YZ125K, and I want to recreate my Enduro bike from 1983... and I had one on that bike.
Thanks,
Tony

My YZ125K back in 1983 - great bike, and I'm tired of doing replicas of other peoples bikes at the moment.

Now that's just bizare - I had searched Speed and Sport yesterday. And when you go to the parts list for the IT250/465H, it comes up as "None In Stock".
Still does now too - It only shows up if you do a specific search for that particular part number!
Oh well - I suppose I'll find out tomorrow if it's actually in stock or not...
-
I did a search on 4V5 (58 hits) first then spotted the part number so did a search on it?
Go figure?

well, placed the order with Speed and Sport last night (on the proviso that it was actually white) and got an email back from them this morning....
It was mislabelled - the one they had was blue, not white.. :'(
So I am still looking for a white IT250/465 H headlight!
Thanks to everyone for all there help till now.
Still looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
;D
(btw, nice quick reply from Speed & Sport too - They're not the cheapest, but I've NEVER had a problem with their service)

Ooohh! so close. Sorry.

Me too except for one time.
They had a NOS expansion chamber for YZ125E 1978 & I asked for pictures first to make sure it had no dints. Explained in no uncertain terms that it had to be perfect. (Paint aside)
They sent several pics but there appeared to be one slight blindspot but could see everything else from every angle.
It arrived, I looked straight at the blind spot & what do you know? A dint. Small, repairable but not the point. Sent it back, cost me about $75 but at least I got a FULL refund. (Not my postage costs though.)
Not long after picked up one from Evilbay. Perfect apart from some minor paint scratches & worked out cheaper including my lost postage.

Hahaha - don't worry about it! Thanks for pointing it out to me.
Much better to get a lead and find it's not quite right, than to be sitting round waiting for a dead topic to get 'just one reply'!!!
;D ;D ;D

Yeah Mike, I think that may be the plan for now - still want to find a good white one, but a painted blue one would do for short term.
Anyone got a complete blue IT250/465 H/J headlight?
(or a white one!!)
::)

Then there's less blue ones in the world. (Guilty myself)
Why not go with the DC if that's the case? If you sand them back & use plastic restore they come up alright.
I have an aftermarket white one (Preston Petty copy) but slightly different look.
More F/G style
