I have a set of 85 model forks and a whole wheel with the disk sitting
in the shed collecting dust and cobwebs if you are interested.

I am after the 84 Disc Setup Pre 85 Legal, are the 85 legs the same as 84??

im sure the  84 and 85 legs are the same the  85 disk rotor has a different hole patern .the brake calipers are the same  ,the master cylinder is the same i have the parts book some where i could check the part numbers for you

just checked the part numbers the only differance in the part numbers is the  the model number the rest of the part number is the same there is one differance on the fork tube the 84 is the same diameter where it goes through the tripple clamps the 85 model has a smaller diameter in between the top and bottom clamp

There is 20 sets on US Evilbay but I always want to buy local first,
I want legal disc brakes for a 1984 RM this appears to be the way

I think I've got a spare pair. Let me have a look and I'll get back to you.

Best pre-85 legal brake for sure (ie: better than the KX disc).

84 TS250X wheel and disc should be Pre 85 Legal??

I have a set of1984 CR250 RE front forks.  Currently dismantled but complete from memory.
