Title: Is Forum slowest loading site on the net?

Why is this so?Give up go to 20 other sites and no problem?

Noticed it also. I just come back a little later and get in fine. Guess the server is getting a hammering these days. Perhaps an upgrade is needed? Let us know Graeme.

gave up after 90 seconds. re tried and opened in 15secs, very strange

I have narrow bandwidth in Laos but it loads fine!

 tried at 5am so 3am auzie time ,all servers should be slow at that time.Gave up after 2minutes from my short cut icon. Have this on and off all the time(every 6 weeks or so) and bad
 last few days.
Went to Ausvmx home page only took 15 secs to load-then 10secs to forum page to open????
tried ebay and 6 other sites got instant connection

I've still got dial up and it loads straight away - except for all the photos of course.

Mine loads just fine, It might be time to upgrade that old Commodore 64 Bazza ;D.

All working fine here at Oakdale. Sometimes some sites with large pictures take a while to download but generally this forum is a ok. You should try the Trading Post, what a joke, takes ages to open any page. What's going on there ???

Some days mine is hopelessly slow loading but only Ozvmx, today it was fine.

I have been doing support for several moto boards that are US based as well as an IT board in Holland - just about every time we experience slowness and the server itself is not experiencing issues it is caused by the site being overloaded by requests coming from China, Nth Korea or one of the *stans.
That we are not getting boatloads of SPAM I am guessing they haven't cracked it yet.
