Title: cr125m barrels

Need some help... Would a 76 barrel bolt up to a 74 bottom end ?   Regards Les

Les from memory they do but only if you machine out the 74 cases because the 76-78 cylinder has a thicker liner or another way of doing it is to machine the lower part of the liner thinner where it protrudes below the base gasket surface.

what you doing Barf? Folks usually do it the other way around,74 topend on 76 lower.

Brent I destroyed barrel at Boagys last year and just looking for options with parts to fix her up again... Regards Les

That's because the RM's at the track spook'd it  ;-)

Now Now Johnny boy ,blew up in practice on its time out in years. To me the piston has the tell tale signs of the gudgeon pin pushing the circlip out. There is a ridge inside piston where the circlip sits but half way out to edge of piston. It's just a pity I have no more room in barrel for another re bore...Regards Les
