Yeah I know it's a long shot!! but I figure it's worth a shot to use some nos bartering power whilst I've got it. I've slowly been piecing together the 175h project I bought from forum member cyclegod, and he's done such a great job up to when I bought it. With the bike I got every bit of body work nos except for that elusive rhs side cover, so if I could I'd really love to have nos plastic on the whole thing and finish it as it deserves. If anyone has one and would consider selling or swapping it for one of the many 200 bits I've got pls feel free to get in touch on this thread or pm me. I won't be holding my breath but a man's gotta live in hope ;)

Are they the blue ones or white? Euro & Australia blue but US was white, right?
I know I have some IT125/YZ100 ones but they are white & I reckon I have a real good SH IT175 one but again white (& I need it) but I think I have a blue one but it's SH, good, but SH & I know the feeling when only NOS will do.
In fact I have some NOS stuff for my YZ125E (Plastics) that I'm not happy with as I reckon Yamaha outsourced their plastics at some stage & they just dont quite look the same. The part number sticker is the give away.
Anyways I'll have a look & get back to you.

I bid on one on eBay a few months ago, I bid $185.00 but it sold for $440.00 :o :o :o :o
The only way you can find one is to ask on the IT forum or to scour ebay and hope someone lists with a reasonable buy it now price and get it before someone else jumps on it. GOOD LUCK

The item I'm after can be seen here http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/2087014/ I'm obviously after the right hand side cove in nos form. CG its prob lucky for you that you didn't end up with the side cover, otherwise it would just have been more $$ that went with project, although I'd prob pay that for one at the minute.
Perko, although CG has supplied me with a set of very nice OEM side covers I do know what ya sayin by sometimes it's just gotta be nos!! He's given me the really good set of oem's and a nos lhs, I feel like a man with 1 nacker! :D I'd be interested in any IT plastic that you're willing to part with Perko, be it nos or not.

I know I have other IT plastics which I will be listing once I double check models & give them a clean.
No offence to my brother VMXers but in the past I have sold hings cheap & even given away stuff in the spirit of the sport.
Now I find myself needing to fund a very expensive project (Big Shed) so unfortunately the other stuff will have to go on evilbay to get the best price I can.
If I have the one you need, don't think I do now looking at the pic (In blue), I will give you first option to make a fair offer before listing but the rest will go to the demon site.
Off memory I have a set of IT425/250G side covers & another exhaust IT425/250G sidecover, a set US IT125 &/or OZ Yz100 sidecovers, IT175 (82 I think) tank, Clarke long range IT tank for late 70's early 80's, IT175 E & F sidecovers, 82 IT175 seat, Late 70's or early 80's IT headlight surround, same in Preston Petty inc light and a few other various things.
I know I've said this before but I WILL list them soon. Need the money.

The one I have (Blue) is only fair to good. The white one is excellent but not NOS & I need it anyway.
Dug out everything & will clean & identify at the weekend.

Arghhhh!!! Close but not it, thats a IT125 H "white knight" side cover if it has a yellow panel or YZ125 G?? I think, if it has a black panel!
:'( Well at least now i've got another man in my corner in the search for 175G rhs cover! :D ;)

Thanks for the first offer mate but it's not of any use to my IT fleet, would suggest listing it on US ebay for a better sale price as that 'white knight" IT range was never sold in aus. :)

You'll probably find both 3R2 & 3R9 embossed on the back of the number plate panel.

I have recently sourced a chap in the states who has two nos right covers to suit H model which he claims was white in the us, but I'm Sure blue here. I thought white knight also Brendan, however yes same as yz125g except yellow background not black.
I refuse to use a dc one as the rest of the bike is restored to a high standard.
Peko you think you have a reasonable one?

I'm hearin ya man!! My 175h resto has all nos plastic to go on it except the right cover! :( and I'm just being very fussy cause the right cover I do have is very very good, only a few scratches and still very glossy, but it's not NOS!! ::) the way things are going I could probably get drug money for second hand one! :D

You'll be in trouble! I paid more than that for a front number plate for my "bought from new" YZ125E & got crucified for it.
Some people just don't understand "When only NOS will do".
To answer your question, no.
Not good enough for a resto.
Only good for a rider.
