Hi  Iam building a vmx bike out of a it250d is there much difference between the it and yz shocks, and does anyone have a rebuilt shock for sale. regards   Dave.

The IT shock can be made to have same travel by shortening a internal spacer. I am currently doing the same project. Have a look in the Yamaha section.http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=26459.0

it250d's have the same gearbox ratio's as the yz400d/e's have as well

the ITs are shorter but you can run a YZ shock if you use YZ forks , or modified IT forks.
I have an original IT250 shock , PM if your still looking.
