After riding this beast, a pre75 version is on the to do list.

Brad are you entering the"odd ball bike"class at the nats.....lol Imagine the rule book for such a class

Seems fitting that an odd ball rides an odd ball bike...

Not odd to me but odd to others.
XR 200 engined RM 125 N , I had something simular in the 80's useing a Husky 125 frame not fast but you always smiled the whole time. Its still in the project stage hopefully ready for CD.

I started thinking about this and realised that all of my bikes are odd-ball. I think my upcoming KR 250 Maico dirt track rusteration racer is the oddest of the odd though.

Brad, if you're thinking of a pre '75 version of that Trico, you'll be restricted to 7" & 4" travel in all of the pre 75 divisions so you might as well build it as a stock framed pre 65er desert sled and cover more classes. Shit, it'd even make a half decent flat tracker. If you used a pre unit 650 or a unit 500 you may even squeeze it in as a pre 60 classer, answering all of your wishes in one swoop of the magic Sidchrome wand. It's a biig job fitting a 650 into a pre 75 Maico frame. Robbie Owens in Mackay built one a few years ago and it took a lot of work for not too much gain.

If it's good enough for McQueen, it's good enough for Van Barrelo ;)
