Title: what does the word (bespoke) mean

bespoke alloy petrol tank ?

 I believe it means "Hand made to order by a master craftsman"

Made to customer specifications...you tell him what you want and he will make it

Scale drawn diagrams with legible measurements is normally required to avoid confusion

Also means "previously spoken about" - the other usage confused the crap out of me for a while.

Bespoke
1   "Hand made to order by a master craftsman" (Made to customer specifications...you tell him
                                                                        what you want and he will make it)

2   "previously spoken about"  (archaic speak to)

3   "Amateur wheel spoking action" (Ref: A-spoke professionally laced hub)
