I hope it is class legal ;D 1933 500cc 4.99 hp Found in neighbors garage , I just had to have it. merry Christmas to me ;)
-
4.99 hp sounds optimistic....how will you go out the gate with the shifter on the same side as the throttle.
-
I figured seing as it will probably run on kero , it should have enough touque to pull 3rd off the line :D
-
I don't wish to show my ignorance so I'll have to wait for some one to ask what is it?
I think I see a Lucas device providing electrics but-- the oil tank/crankcase? the strange looking gearbox?
You'll need to find the choke cable, throttle cable, and a petrol kero pipe.
Better warm up the kero!
cheers pancho

Its a pre unit engine BSA , so the big crankcase in frunt of the cylinder is just for oil.which is a loss system ( I know all British bikes are) but this has a hole which allows oil to drip onto the drive chain and then into the chain cover and eventually onto the floor!!
I also need a ignition advance cable which goes on a left hand throttle type assy

Assasin I hear on the grape vine Bill is worried and putting the BSA on Nitros.
-
Who's this Assasin ? It's team Buzzard racing -nice bike John --when are you going to come and race with us ?? This years Mr vmx series has been a real ripper not to mention the post match functions ;D
-
only buzzard racing in NZ ;D Will be at rest of rounds, earlier rounds have clashed with car racing stuff.
