Title: mate bought a montessa i think its a enduro model v75

anyway can you confirm its is a 75-76 but mor importantly as the shocks arent laydown would this beasty be able to be run as a pre 75 bike ????

anyone know for sure ?

54M started late 1975 and has lay down shocks based on the V75 MXer design. It is not eligible for Pre75.

Read the GCR rule book, and ID the engine, or put some photo up and we will tell.

My Montesa Enduro has 4/76 on the compliance plate and going of your frame number yours is only slightly older. It should have lay down shocks they were very similar to the V75 as Montynut stated,  except bigger tank,different seat, flywheel weight, different clutch/ gearbox and lights.
