Title: Joel Robert Spotted in Sydney

Hi Guys,
It seems that there have been reports of Joel Robert being spotted in Sydney. He wasn't alone, he was with a lovely lady who was assumed to be his wife. More worrying was the long haired hippie that was seen to be following him closely [probably too close - he was probably after some riding tips].

He was overheard to comment "Ah, what a beautiful city, and the weather is Just Like Home [yes it was cloudy and wet]".

Keep your eyes open and let us know if and where you spot him. Like 'Wally' - he could be anywhere. I'll be keeping an eye on my local Suzuki dealer.

He rings me up all the time asking for CZ pipes, as does Roger D
Aberg often rings too, to abuse me for making HL's
But it's always my mate Dave trying to bullshit me.
If those guys ever rang up for real I would probably tell them to eff off

i want to find my way back to that website with a load of great pics of joel in action back in the day - anyone know it?  was on a thread a while ago.....(buggered if i can find it). 

its worth all of us looking at them again to remind ourselves of just how obviously fast this guy was.  he was doing stuff on a bike then that we only credit bubba and stuff for starting recently.  fast guys go fast and push the limits whatever the bike.

I spotted Joel at Mt Druitt Westfields yesterday buying a dozen disposable raincoats in the Two Dollar Shop. He seemed a nice bloke and gladly signed autographs for the staff and customers.

I doubt if I'll spot him in the tourist hot spots of the Western Suburbs  ::) ;D, but I look forward to seeing him in the flesh.

To act all sophisticated and all when we meet the legend on the street, just what is the correct Euro pronunciation of Joel - with a J as in Joe, or with a Y like Yoel?   Ken any tips?
