Great track! Bet ya glad you had Barkbusters :P
-
That was neat, Ross! ;D
Certainly not my type of riding. (You need to have talent to get through a tight course quickly.... ::) )
That said, I'll bet it was a great weekend and I'm sorry I missed it.

X 2 Thanks Mont

Jeez that's tight but it looks like a hoot of a ride. I know it's hard to get perspective from a helmet camera but I didn't notice
much any gnarly up or downhill stuff, it looked to be purely single lane between the trees technical riding and a lot of fun. There doesn't seem to be a lot of room for passing but for a pony express style event that's not really a problem. Great bit of video.
I'm looking forward to being fit enough to ride a couple of vinduro's next year on the IT 250 and/or PE 400.

I feel like I need to get my eyes checked again :D
It certainly was a hoot to ride and it was good to relive it again, thanks Ross
There wasn't anything overly difficult but it was a fun track to ride and gave you a good workout.
My arms are aching from the continual body english from flicking between the trees.

That's terrific Ross. I dreamed I was still doing laps on Sunday night but it was still nice to see it again.
You are right Mark that the camera doesn't show up or down hill but there was plenty of both. The only way to pick the up hills if you weren't there is to listen to Ross's mighty XR250 trying to pull a first/ second gear change and still accelerate.
Cheers, Grahame

Because both bikes were fairly quiet four strokes you don't really get a feel of the constant changing grades unless as Graeme says you hear the the little 250 desperatley trying to grab another gear on the really big uphills.
Yes I was so thankful that this bike has bark busters. That was literally what they were doing in some places. If you were a couple of inches off the line you'd used several times before then suddenly there'd ba a WHAMMO!. A full blooded bang on the BB's that would nearly spit you off the track entirely and surely busting a knuckle or two if they weren't there.... :'( :'(
Yes I was still doing laps of the joint in my sleep Sunday night as well...... :D

Did you wish you were on one of the YZs?
-
No. I think the little XR was the ticket. I was certainly enjoying it 8).
-
Great video Ross.
It shows the track from a great angle.
Well done.

And sometimes you just get it wrong..... ::)

So that's how you lost your indicator lens... :)

I noticed the well punched lap card Ross. I had a crash on my second last lap as well. Just so buggered by then and got tangled up in the shrubbery. 18 laps @ 8 km a lap = about 140 km of very tight going. I think we went OK for old buggers.
Cheers, Grahame

I reckon ;)

Great looking property, I missed another good one.
Need to look around for a Sea King helicopter to cut down travel time :)
