I'm also starting to sort out an RM125T for a return to the track.
The cylinder is presently 0.5mm OS but needs a bore. I can get Wossner or Wiesco pistons up to 2mm OS which are the best?
The main bearings are also noisey should I use genuine bearings or just pick up quality C3 bearings?

Just pick up quality C3 bearings .... also replace the o/ring on RHS = 20 X 2.5 Crank primary .

for a little more cost up front (alright a fare bit) get the barrel resleeved then you are back to stock suzuki items ;) and lets face it you can buy std pistons alot cheaper and are a far better quality part VS pay less up front and go for wossner and dont forget the piston to bore specs they tend to have a bit more clearance just like wiseco

Also check the cases where the bearings mount, make sure that the steel sleeve which Suzuki cast into the alloy isnt moving. Years ago i rebuilt my RM125T and shortly after found the mains had gone again, and on inspection found the sleeve moving in the alloy. A local machine shope bored the old one out and machined up a new sleeve and pressed it in and fixed the problem.

Thats interesting 311.
I have a couple of cases and they don't have steel sleeves,
but yes the bearings have worked loose in the casing
