Title: 35mm forks
Post by: mainline on November 23, 2012, 07:48:23 pm
I'm needing some forks for my rl250 project. Could the learned types tell me which mid-70's suzuki's had 35mm forks so I don't buy something sight-unseen that won't work. Cheers

Have a look here.

Grab yourself an RE5 front end and away you go!  :D

All the Spanish 1970s trials bikes had 35mm forks (and work really well). Bultaco Sherpa T and Alpina (and Matador) being the most easily found and are 35mm leading axle. Montesa 247 and 348 and 349 are also 35mm leading axle.
