What does "remade" in aluminum mean?

Originals were magnesium from memory 82 onward and corroded quite happily

I've sold my '84 now and whilst this one looks similar I don't recall that screw hole at the lower front .. the one below the pump that looks like a 2nd drain hole.  I had heard the '84's were unique but I can't confirm or deny.

One things for sure, if it does fit an '84 then it's probably worth 4 times as much

Is the 84 gasket the same as the 85?
That will be a clue as to whether they are interchangable

It won't fit an '84 and I doubt a '85 both of these had ATAC powervlaves, this one is designed for the first Generation HPP.
The little hole near the waterpump drain is for the HPP mechanism grub screw.
It will fit '86 and '87 and potentially '88 through to '91 although you would lose the seperate clutch access.
