Any skid marks? ;D. Are you going au natural in future Mainline?
-
No skidmarks, the back protector doesn't go down far enough for that. :-D

I've always thought that these suits would be too hot to wear......how are they in the heat and comfort department?
-
Body armour is hot, and heavy, till you get used to it, and you do get used to it especially after having big crashes without it.
Any heat and weight is better than gravel rash and bent bones!

wore mine once (661) and then never notice it - absolutely brilliant - plus it evens out the bumps in my profile for good camera shots ;D

Firko I have a Thor one which I swear by. It has saved re-opening old scars quite a few times, the most notable being I was at Louie practicing with Carl Blecher one hot and dry weekend and he and I swapped bikes, he rode my CR250RZ with a crap front brake and I rode his CR250RE with a disc front brake. After a couple of laps I came into a downhill corner too hot, had a brain fade, grabbed a handful of front brake and went down faster than a Sunset Strip hooker. Slid on my back down the dry gravelly track for about 10-15 metres and came to a stop up against a distant berm with the bike and my helmet peak scattered across the track. My top was torn to shreds all down the back, the front and on the elbows but I didn't have a scratch on me except for what looked like carpet burn on my elbow from rubbing against the elbow guard. Yes it gets a bit hot on hot days but with that kind of protection I don't care. That's a good buy.

Sorry to butt in on your thread Paul but yours is a tad small for me ::).
I bought this EVS body suit on the recommendation of a mate (and for the cheap price) from Torpedo 7. It's difficult enough finding this stuff for big chappies so I hope I've done the right thing. Anyone else use EVS?

yes, but not of you. Everytime Teddles tries to sell something his posts get derailed by wellmeaning onlookers posting pictures of ferrets and the like

I got it wrong, another of my ever increasing narcotic indused pensioner moments ::). What I actually bought is an AXO AIRCAGE body suit from Torpedo 7 for $99. It arrived this morning, fits good (but will be better with another 5kg gone) and isn't as uncomfortable as I'd envisioned. I felt safer just walking around the house with it on. ;D Anyone else use this set up? If so are there any problems I need to look forward to?

Ive been using the axo for the last 2 seasons and being new to this racing thing have had some ripper stacks and its amazing to get up skin intact and not to much pain ;).
Wish I had some 15yrs ago!
The only problem I had was the old nipple rash but nothing the wife beater cant fix.
