I agree .. a heap of absolute rubbish.  In fact, aside from the fishplate frame and copper tubing, it almost looks like he disassembled the bike and then put it back together wrong and is now claiming it to be a work of art or something.

Look closely at the pics, rusty old shocks, original handlebars turned upside down and around the wrong way, original swing arm, original triples, original levers and perches etc etc  ..... yep .. really inspired creativity there   ::) ???

I love it, the bloke marches to a different beat to you naysayers which to me is a good thing. How boring would life be if we all drove beige Camry's, rode white plastic Yamahas and bought our clothes at Lowes.
 Viva la differance'. ;D

Yeah, but what are you supposed to do with it?  You could never ride the thing and it's not a nice concourse resto you could put on display. It's just a mess.

I must admit that he could have put a bit more thought towards rideability. With a more sensible rake and a little flat track seat he'd have a cute little street tracker/bobber/cafe racer. There are far more offending creations out there in Chopperville.

Lol Firko ... he could have put a lot more thought into creativity as well and not just used the parts that landed on the floor when he dismantled it  ;D

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder mate .. you going to make a bit then  ;D ;D

'Not only has the bike been aesthetically modified It has been highly modified from a performance perspective.

The engine has upgraded front and rear sprockets for faster acceleration.

The carburettor has been modified with bigger main jets to compensate for the increased air mixture.  Also the exhaust has been minimised to allow the engine to breathe more.

The motorcycle was not built to be a static display but a running functioning machine that performs.  The bike can be ridden!'

I just realized that all the bikes in my shed with non original gearing and jetting are now highly modified performance machines.

Good on the bloke for having a go and building something different but there seems to be some self promotion/sales pitching in play here.

OK, YOU GUYS WIN ;D.....Upon looking deeper into it, the bike is indeed a piece of shite. I was blinded by the monocoque frame but now reckon that for the trouble dear old Andy went to he could have made a much better finished product, with a usable steering rake, proper wheels and brakes, working suspension and yes...a seat. You all know that I dearly love a special but in reality the thing must have a purpose for its very existence, being a static display at the next Deus ex Machina street fair or on some bobber website isn't a good enough reason to live 8).

I do like that he has kept the spoiler... because aerodynamics were obviously his main concern!!!

Give a man an angle grinder and a welder for Xmas and look what you get... his wife will be sooooooo proud.  ;D

P.S. Andys postie bike is cool!!! [by comparison]
