Title: will IT250/465 seat fit YZ250H

can anyone confirm whether the IT seat will fit the YZ250H? different part numbers so I'm not sure

Dunno, but considering the deafening silence you're getting, I'll offer:
IT175 seats are about 25mm shorter than YZ125 seats, thanks to the larger tank on the IT.

I can tell you that a YZ250h seat will fit a IT250d. So i would be guessing yes.

The IT250/465H/J seats are pretty close to an YZ250/465H. YZ250/465G & H are the same seat assembly.
The airboxes are nearly the same so any difference would be slight in the base and the foam is slightly higher on the IT I'm sure. Whenever I have ordered a seat cover for my IT465's they are YZ ones and they fit perfect.

Hey Woody,

I put these 2 seats side by side and I can tell you that they are not the same.  The IT465 seat is about an inch shorter at the front (i imagine to allow for that massive tank).
Are you looking for a seat ?

thanks Guys, Adam on yamaha IT has/had a very nice IT seat for sale. If it fit I was going to buy it and put it away in my 250H resto glory box.

I've got a spare YZ250H seat.  PM me if you are interested.  Foam is still good.  Has 2 studs broken off in the threads, but easily fixed.  You can still clearly see the 3R4 stamp on the bottom of it.  I can send you some piccies if you want.

The IT465 seat is surplus to requirements also.
