I'm heading out to my first VCM meeting on Nov 11, if the knee is good I'll have a ride otherwise I'll just watch. I hope to see a good turn-out :-)
-
You picked a good one for your first VCM, this track is a hoot.
See you there..

Haven't been to this one for a number of years but it is definitley the best VMX track that I have ridden on. Boagy does a great job setting out an appropriate circuit for the old bikes and bodies. Wish I could be there this year but our MC club has a memorial ride each year around Remembrance day to remember all members that have past on. We have a road ride and a trail ride all ending at the same location for a bonfire and a few refreshments.
The highlight of the last stay at Boagy's place was a tour of his farm sheds full of bikes.
Stan.

I will hopefully be heading up late saturday afternoon suzukis in tow. Long drive from geelong, sure to be thirsty by the time I get there. ;D cheers Terry.
-
Wow the weather forecast is looking so perfect, a few showers during the week to moisten the track and mid 20's & sunny for Sunday; I'm looking forward to the day.
-
I will be there if I get the 400 back together in time after the ravenswood blow up. Get the barrel back thursday so should be right ;D
-
Its been years since I have ridden at boagy property, great track, next year I will be there on my bully
-
I really need to get an Evo bike so I can come along to the VCM races.... all pre85 in my shed
-
Yes Steve!! ;-)

It promises to be a huge day. Hopefully we will see a bumper pre 75 turn out. Numbers have been down a bit so lets get those machines from the glory days out on whats possibly the best natural terrain track going around. At the risk of letting the cat out of the bag next years VCM calender looks a beauty. Stay tuned for more. J

Hopefully we will see a bumper pre 75 turn out.
A few Queenslanders will hold up their end of the bargin/era class ;D
-
Last year there was a couple of Greeves', really well turned out but still racers, and as I recall from interstate.
You know you have got the sickness bad when you are fingers crossed for them to be there again so you can have another look.
-
The Greeves are owned by Bert Cavell, Bert & family will once again make the trip from Queensland.
We also have a South Australian entrant, Robin Groom who should give the Herbert boys some serious competition.
Motorcycling Victoria representatives will attend, film some races, interveiw riders then post on MV website.
Everything looking good, anticipating a huge turnout.

Rumour has it that esteemed VCM President Franko will be running around on a Phantom even if he only has one usable leg. Also I hear a few of the CSC guys are coming. Fantastic news the more the merrier. J
-
Next year, it will be better then ever, cocking the leg over the bike will be a first for a long time, I will be looking forward in racing my Bully. enjoy the day fellows.

What a bloody fantastic day, thanks VCM guys, thanks East Malvern Club, thanks John Boag; can't wait for next year now! :-)
-
Great day of racing at Boagy's yesterday. Big fields in quite a few classes (including more twinshock 125s than I've ever seen in one place before). Needless to say, I'm feeling it today after not riding for nearly 3 years before yesterday! Thankfully it all came back to me as the day went on.
Big thanks to East Malvern MCC, Mr. John Boag himself, and the VCM team. Classic MX is alive & well.
-
Looking forward to seeing some photos, weather and track were spot on.
Thanks to John Boag & Family, East Malvern mcc and all the riders who supported the event.
VCM committee will take a break then get cracking on next years series.
