I just picked up a very nice 75 MX100B. Does anyone know of a parts supplier for this year of Yamaha MX's? I was shocked at how many parts are not available from Yamaha. Thanks!

Red, you are becoming a regular tart ;D. First an Ossa and now a Yammy ::).
Start with Sport and Speed...

....then you're on your own :P
Maybe talk to the guys at the YZ Yahoo group. They are mostly Yanks and would have a better and more specific knowledge about parts in the US and about the MX100 ;)....

i couldn't imagine parts being too big a problem for your little bike as they share an awfull lot with the DT series and the modern RT100, not to mention the 75 MX125/175a/b.
check out the yamaha site
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/myyamaha/prompt/L3Nwb3J0L3BhcnRzL2hvbWUuYXNweA==/Parts%20Catalog/starthere.aspx
and compare part numbers as well as the visual aspect of things. plenty of parts on ebay for my 125mx and most of them are in your backyard.

I am quite the bike whore. ;D
I was looking for front and rear fenders, new air filter and oem clutch and front brake cables. I couldn't get these from Yamaha. Thanks for the links!

I might have the front brake cable, is it the one that starts 427-? (has small diameter thread on hub end)
Just checked part number 427-26341-00-00 WIRE, BRAKE FRONT I will confirm that when I get home from work
I do indeed have a N.O.S front brake cable for your MX100, if you want it let me know, it will be $18AU plus whatever shipping to the US will be.

Red what is the model ID please, Cheers tim :)

Post a parts list required, make it easy with item and codes, dont belive everything your told. if we cant find it here ( which id be suprised) the US is full of MX100 stuff, unless your talking low run stickers and plastics. motor wise and stuff should be easy pickings.

www.nwvintagecycleparts.com - excellent source as is Speed and Sport for older parts - huge stock and prices normally a little cheaper than Speed and Sport.
