Title: YZ465H Front Number Plate

I am looking for an original from number plate for the 1981 YZ465H.  NOS would be nice but I am a realist when it comes to these items.  I have the DC equivilant but I am not impressed.

Can anyone help with either an original or something better than DC?

Yes, it is about the best stuff around. But their front # plate is average. DC have a better one in my opinion, it has a single strap going over the bar pad more like the original.

Thanks guys.  The DC one isn't without its problems and the guides behind the plate are made for the 38mm forks.  If I go with that it'll have to be modified extensively.

I'm thinking I'll make one better.

That's weird, I have the DC one and it's OK.  Maybe they sent you the wrong one  :-\  ??
There's a market for good quality plastics for these things - try buying a number plate for any G or H model - impossible  :-\

Thats interesting, I check on that and see if I have the wrong one.  can only hope.

The DC one's only need five cable ties! One around the strap & four around the forks, wouldn't matter if the forks were 38mm or 43mm
