Hi there,
New member, and thought I should say hello.  Recently purchased a 1987 XT600 in nice tidy condition.  Rego and ready to go.  Haven't been on a bike for about fifteen years, so my riding style is a bit rusty.  I've been on a few 100km rides around the place since picking up the bike, so slowly getting back into the swing of it.  Not likely to go motorcross riding on this rocket, but a bit of fun blasting around on the gravel and bitumen roads and a short trip to work every so often.

I've got an appreciation for most old machinery including bikes, trucks, cars, stationary engines etc.

Forums look great - lots of good information.  Pleased to be a part of it.
I realise a 1987 XT600 doesn't quite qualify for VMX...

VMX at the moment goes to pre 90.....bring on pre 2000. ;D

As an old TT600 owner I must admit that I've got a soft spot for them. Your XT 600 looks the goods. Welcome.
