i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on front tyre choice on a 21in rim on a crf250 for dt, i no u can run a standard knobby but on real hard pack surfaces i dont think its goin to be tyre of choice. im running a michy x11 trial comp 18 on the rear to, i know its not really vintage but its still dirt track  ;D

cheers for that so last question is it worth stayin with a 21 or should i put a 19 front the bloke i got the rear wheel off new can lace me up a 2.15 onto a front hub if i want that way i probably have a better choice of tyre to

Personally I'd stick with the 21", there aren't many guy's running 19's any more.

If your a millville sticky fan grab em while you can as they have been replaced by the "Millville 2"  :-\

-
That'd be just a name change wouldn't it be Darren, you're the tyre man.

 Doesn't look to bad.

Now I haven't tried too many front tyres on dirt track, but I run a Motoz X-Circuit 21" on my 05 YZ125 and it is brilliant. Particularly in the dry. Way way better than a Dunlop 752 I tried.  There's an interesting thread on tyres here on Aussie Dirt Track racing:
