Just got back from gatton, bargain of the meet was a complete original CR250M that sold for $1300  before it even got off the sellers trailer, I heard the buyer knocked back $3000 for it not long after :o

If I paid $1300 , and the bike needed full restoration, then $3000 offer was worth considering

$3000 might be a bit far fetched, it wasn't worth anywhere near that. It was complete but weathered needing full resto.

  I think there were fewer buyers this year but ended up with plenty of sellers.  The sites were slow to fill not many turned up on thursday, I think there was some confusion on whether camping would be permitted on thursday night. I will attach a few photos of some items for sale

he wasn't offered 3k. Someone opened their mouth and said 2.5k which means nothing unless he has the money in his hand willing to hand it over.
