Here's a good thing that's fitted with all of the right bibs and bobs. Built by Dick Mann and with an engine by 'Wild' Bill Cody, this little Metisse would be one of the best I've seen for a long time. I reckon he'd have 10k-12k reserve on it but it'd cost you that much to build one and it still wouldn't have the Dick Mann/Bill Cody connection.

For sale is a brand new framed Jawa 500cc Rickman Metisse built by Dick Mann. Engine is all new, built by Bill Cody with mods to run on gas (lowered compression). Bike has been started but never ridden. Best of everything components with new rims, spokes, works shocks and NOS Cerianis. Bike has been on living room display for past 3 years, will need gas, oil, and checking over prior to racing. Probably the ultimate AHRMA Premier 500 class weapon. Bike may be seen/collected by winning buyer at Barber's Vintage Festival (MX pits area). May also have AJS 350 Metisse to be posted at later date. Please contact me at 931 224 2523 or [email protected] for more details. Machine will only be released when paid for in full. Bill of sale and original delivery document from Dick Mann to be included with the bike. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping costs/arrangements if required.

Nice looking bus. Interesting its on pump gas. What era is that bike representing I'm not up n Matisse
-
certainly one of the nicer ones.pre 70?
-
the jawa esso metisse is pre 65 as long as you have the right forks and wheels
cz ones and you are done
-
The ESO Metisse above is 100% legal for pre 65. The Ceriani forks and Rickman hubs are correct.
-
what are the triples ?
-
Either Arces or Betor OSSA I'd say, looking at the double pinch bolts.
-
my arces have just the one socket bolt on the lower....... so maybe the other

Either Arces or Betor OSSA I'd say, looking at the double pinch bolts.
They are Betor as fitted to the Rickman Zundapp, Rickman Montessa and other bikes of that period
