This is a rare Rickson Matchless from the early 60's. It was built by Stig Rickardsson, father of retired Speedway Champion Tony Rickardsson.

It was offered to him but he's not interested. Al's got enough stuff to keep himself busy for a quite a while so isn't jumping in at everything interesting like he might have a year or two ago. Having said that, I've just unloaded one of my unstarted aftermarket frame projects onto him and he's unloaded one of his onto another mate. ;D
Did you have a dig at that Honda Champion on VFT Slidey?

Firko was it to bacon boy?

No Mikey....his mate Dale. Bacon Boy went with me to the DT Nats today so it was a bit of a comeback for him. He seemed to enjoy himself.

No Mark, unfortunately circumstances wouldn't allow it, good to catch up with you yesterday and thanks for bringing that tank down.

Beautiful! Oh to be given the chance and a rebuilt body to ride such exquisite heavy metal.
