Title: rm465 43mm fork tubes into rm500 lower legs, can it be done?

Hi Gents,

thought i'd post this here as well as technical, can it be done Suzuki Men???

want to use 43mm RM465 fork legs (upper chrome) in RM500D lower alloy section lower leg, HAVE YOU DONT THIS BEFORE? Suzuki part numbers are different, both are 43mm dia. (the 500 tubes (uppers) are pitted,the 465 uppers are perfect.)
