Trying to identify this Yamaha hub for a friend. Here's the sketch of what he's looking for:
He thinks it's from a YZ250-490 from around 1980-82. No code cast into it, and a single rib around the brake side.
Anyone know what it is? He's looking to buy one.
Thanks, Tony

Sorry, a few photobucket glitches before... ;D

Any hints on brake diameter?
81 models had big drums compared to 80 and 82+ YZs.
The large spoke diameter suggests a later model than the 81 4V4 hub.
IT490K/L??

Looks like a 4V4 to me. The H models are the only ones I am aware of with the single rib. Both the G & J had two ribs.

Here is an IT490 hub on eBay and it has the single rib.
