Title: 1981 PE250X
Post by: Graeme M on September 29, 2012, 10:25:18 pm
For sale, Suzuki PE250X restored to new condition using many new parts.

Plus there are a few other new parts used . All the alloy has been glass bead blasted or polished, most steel parts have been zinc plated and rust proof expoxy paint has been used to paint the frame etc.
Has original head light and tail light fitted and comes with original speedo, switch block and 4 blinkers (not fitted and will require some wiring).

The bike was last started over 4 years ago and then all fluids were drained, carby cleaned again, fuel tank cleaned and engine re oiled and then into dry storage until now.

First to see will buy as it looks like an original new Suzuki PE250 1981.

$2500 ONO

Will also consider trading and adding cash for a project Suzuki RM465 or RM500 any condition.

Please call or email  Michael if interested.

What an absolute bargain!!!  The work that has gone into that bike, you should be asking double the price!  If I could get my hands on the cash right now I'd snap it up!

Just to note - it's not me selling this bike. It's a guy called Michael who lives here in Canberra. I've not seen the PE, but I did buy my RM250T off him and it was a good honest bike for the money I paid. He's a bit of a Suzuki fan and seems to know his stuff.

That's a nice PE going for much cheaper than you could restore one for. The plastic appears to be DC vaccuum moulded stuff but it looks fine. The perfect vinduro mount.
