Good looking bike. Consider if you can build it in Oz before exporting. I have noticed 75 and 76 CR250's do not sell for much money compaired to earlier models . Seen 2 or 3 go for under $1000 in last 6 months via ebay. A forum member here scored one for $700. Heres a 76 on ebay now. No bids yet. Price is at top end of market based on what I have seen but no where near $4000US plus shipping.

They are for sale at Scott Stegers for $7500 US so he will want close to that. Holy Cow!!

I agree they're not cheap but look at what you get for your money, he does a superb job. I know Scott and a more fair dinkum bloke you'll never meet. Still, $10,000 for a 125M, it's up there.

Well, concidering I paid US$4000 for a NOS set of Fox Forx recently, it doesn't seem that bad Value?, I bet Michael won't be parting with his for much less than that!

While that little Elsinore is certainly a nice bike and the seller knows his stuff, if I was throwing that kind of money (7k-10k) into a vintage bike I reckon I could 1: find one that doesn't need "de modifying" (illegal swingarm for pre 75), 2:find a bike with better investment potential and 3: find something a damn site more interesting than yet another Elsinore. As nice as the bike is, it's still only a blinged up Elsinore.
