Title: Crump to retire.
Post by: Curly3 on September 24, 2012, 07:40:23 pm
Sad news because he's still on the pace but this is def an understandable decision.
His dad Phil went bloody close to winning one but Jason ( along with several other's)  dragged us back to the top of world speedway.
Enjoy your SGP retirement and hopefully we can see more of him here in OZ.
Thanks for everything, Steve

Jason's put in probably double the time of Casey but I get your point Alison.
My guess is that Casey will be back, I doubt that Jason will.
Speedway rider's race 3 - 4 times a week all across Europe for nearly 12 months a year, if they want to. Jason's been doing it for approx 25 years.

He deserves it, it's a tough life on the speedway circuit. I heard Crumpy in an interview on the radio say that he was getting tired of all the travel and that he wanted his kids to grow up in Australia. I hope he enjoys it.
