Seeing that the Hindall RT2MX build has taken quite a bit longer than I ever envisioned, I've had more time to scour eBay and Marks for more trick bibs and bobs. Here's the latest, a rare set of genuine Profab triple clamps I got off Curt Fournier on Marks Swapmeet.
They were made for a Husky but I'll make a new head stem to suit the Hindall frame. One downside is that I'd spent a bit of time and money tricking up the MX250 Yamaha forks with Race Tech Gold Valves and custom springs which I now can't use because the forks are 34mm and the clamps are for 35mm units. 'll now use a pair of Can-Am betors and C-A front wheel and fit the Yamaha forks to the Boyd and Stellings TM400..........Ah, the world of mix'n'match special building ;D.

Mark if you don't need the MX forks i'll take them off you, don't want them cluttering up your garage.

Here's my plan Iain and Curly.....Seeing I have so much in the MX forks I'm going to fit them to my Boyd and Stellings TM400, replacing the stock YZ250A forks that are in it. The plan was then to sell the YZA forks for a shitload of money to a wealthy collector :D. Let's just wait until all of the current Yamaha projects are done and I've sold the TM400 and I should have the YZ  forks, a set of MX or DT2MX forks and a good set of DT1 forks out of Nathans old bike up for grabs. It should be all done sometime leading up to Christmas as I want all of my current projects done by years end.

Trick they may be but pretty they are not, are they any lighter than standard?

Not a problem Birko...as long as you're not in too much of a hurry.

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder....they'll look better once they're polished up. I'm not so sure if they're lighter Tony but they're definitely stronger that the sheet metal Husky originals. The also have 7mm less offset to assist the Husky to turn a bit quicker. Surprisingly, they're the same offset and pitch as the Yamaha triples they're replacing.
