I have just had some sprocket covers made to suit 1978/79 A4/5 Kwakas. They are made from 6061 alloy...you get 1 cover and 3 spacers. I will have carbon look ones available as well. You can paint or what ever you want to them. I think they may fit KT250's and the early KX's aswell....maybe someone can confirm....I'll put the price up Monday (too rushed yesterday to cost them up). If your interested let me know as the more I get, the cheaper they will be. Ph....0412747729, cheers John......$88 each. Hey Joanie, would you be thinking of getting billet DT1-YZa sprocket cover/clutch actuators made up? There's a market for 'em ;)
How are you coming along after the op matey? Follow TM Bills advise..."dont go over doing it", I learned that one the hard way.
-
I'm coming along good Mark...just not allowed to lift anything for a few more weeks....gee I hope those bunnies win tonight....I have just bought a NOS YZB clutch actuator so we can copy it...I was thinking of 2 options as we all know you have to cover the sprocket to race which the std one doesnt so I was going to get one that extends itself further back but still looks like the original....not an easy task. How are you coming along?

I'm also coming along pretty well now that the dreaded Golden Staph has pretty much cleared up. I've just got to get the dicky knee replaced and I'll be back at 'em again. The catch 22 is that they won't do the knee until I get clearances from the orthopedic specialist re: the staph infection and my heart/lung guy for my collapsed lung which is almost (but not quite) back to normal now. I'm hot to trot now!
That's a good idea to copy the original YZ actuator but add just enough extra length to keep Mr Scrutineer happy. I'm up for a couple. I'm currently using DT2MX actuators but you know how flimsy they are. I'm serious about racing these bikes next year and want to take as many Achilles heels out of the equation as I can.
Go those Waskally Wabbits........... ;D

Davey - for some reason the net has not let me post over the weekend. I agree with Firko - I would be interested in an actuator arm especially if you fabed in a nice sprocket cover.
cheers
Rossco
PS - get well quick eh! ;D

John - looks like you are becoming the go to man ;D Mate - don't know what chain guide can be easily fitted to the YZB to meet the new requirements do you?

Havent tried anything Rosco....I cant see them doing anything about that .....load of crap if you ask me.....next they'ill want fully enclosed chains.....I personally think the only thing we need to worry about in the future is noise.
