Title: Champion DT1 basket case
Post by: firko on September 21, 2012, 07:26:41 pm
This Champion DT1 isn't the best bargain I've seen but it's still a cheap entry level flat tracker starting point. It's got a DT2MX barrel and desired Barnes/Airheart rear wheel and brake combo but needs a lot to get it up and running. The Champion frame isn't as rare as the seller states but they're good things. This is in reality a $500-600 bike and if you feel the need it might be worth throwing the owner an offer because I doubt they'd be ringing his phone off the hook at $1200. As the seller says.....it "needs love" lots of it ::)

Hi Firko , that frame is actually a PDV Gringo . Power Dyne Vehicles . The tell tale is the frame loop and engine mounts at the rear of the engine . Cheers Hodaka

Now I look a bit closer at the rear engine mounts I agree it does appear to be a PDV, thanks Darren. In that case, the bike's worth $300-400 in the condition it's in.
