Title: 1983 DR250 Sidecovers, rear guard and Headlight

I'm on the lookout for a pair of sidecovers, a rear guard and a headlight for this model.
The guard and headlight don't really have to be model-specific as long as they're period correct.

Subject to further investigation, I might need some ignition components as well but that is yet to be confirmed.

You will find getting sidecovers a fruitless exercise as almost every one broke the lugs off at the tank end and the rear end as well, I have been calling wreckers nationwide and eBay but have only managed a NOS left cover and a slightly cracked right one. I still need a better left one for this dung heap

The bike's far from pretty now, so I reckon it might look a bit silly with NOS bits on it.  :D
Thanks for the info re. sidecovers too. Must be a Suzuki thing.........  :-\

I thought I might try fitting 86/87 RM250 sidecoves (exhaust is on right side) but other jobs have been more pressing. If they did fit I was going to have DC plastics make me a set in white, the rear guard on mine an MRobert DC plastics copy.
