Not been able to find seals, any leads out there.
Also advice on dismantling, oil level & weight.
Shafts are 11mm diameter.

Enquires I have made indicated that no one rebuilds them.
They were junk when the bike was new (lasted a couple of hard rides and blew the seals) mine lasted about 4hrs of running in and one meeting. You can buy replicas for reasonable money but they would only be good for static display not racing. The shocks were the problem with the VB series in the 70s as they are very highly stressed in the extreme mounting position.
If you intend riding it put 16mm shaft YSS or some other high quality shocks on it the same as everyone did in the day.

Take the seals to a CBC Bearing place or same thing like that , i got some for mine there a few years ago but yeah they were crap like the MK9 Pursangs were.

Thanks for the advice guys, need to dismantle the shockers.
Unscrew cap, remove washer, reveals seal, is there a circlip under the seal ?
Have spent enough money on this bike so standard shockers will have to do for now.

Do you want the Telesco's back #81

Appreciate the offer Jerry, hopefully get the Monty on the track soon.
May even give you a ride if you can behave.
