Title: Ty250 pistons
Post by: Cabmkr on September 17, 2012, 09:27:23 pm
Has anyone had any experience with these pistons from DG Comp Shop in the UK

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/350447420344?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/350447420344?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649)

Pricing is good as I dont want to spend a ton of cash on the rebuild but also dont want it to blow up cuz i cheeped out. A wiesco kit is just over $200 CND

Cheers

Yes I thaught the same, DT and MX250's have the same part number in the wiesco listing. There is no listing for the Ty250

The piston kits you put the link up for may be the ones that some of the guys in the UK have had problems with being noisy rather quickly after a rebuild.
Like Iainyz I bought a complete DT250 piston kit for mine, part number was 311-11635-00. Quite a few different kits available in the US
