Title: Red Devil New Tank?

Looks the goods but wouldn't a new tank have shiny alloy finish filler cap threads :-\

No, it should come with factory fitted tape covering the filler neck and fuel tap hole, the last two NOS tanks I have seen had this.

and warning stickers and no paint on the flange where the fuel tap goes and no paint on the filler cap threads.

It isnt NOS in my book, but it is never the less a beautiful looking tank.
