After a supplier for rod kits and piston kits for the cr250rz's.
-
Wiseco still offers the piston kits, but I think you may have to use a later model rod and have the crank machined for it.
-
Dont know about mechining but prox list same rod from 78 to 01 part # 03.1315

Both Wiseco & ProX rod kits are available, however the pin is too long and needs to be ground to the correct length. The trick is to use Wiseco #8160 rod kit listed for ATC250 2T, the pin is a couple of mm shorter than std but you don't have to root around shortening the other one. Pistons are easy, but be careful if you still have the standard chrome bore, as they require different rings.
