Hey guys, I just had work ask me about leave for next year.
As I did this year, I'll try and combine a road trip from Adelaide to the CMX and continue on for R & R.
Can anyone confirm a venue and time that CMX is going to be conducted?? :)

I believe its this time next year.but its not set till the 2013 MA calender is out.
I dont see why we have to fit in with the rest of the National events across Australia.
Its not as if we do all the National Rounds in all the disciplines.
Sittin and waitin till early 2013 :P

quote:The biggest issue next year will effect both. the proposed calender for 2013 has the MX one weeeknd and then the Dirt track the weekend after ? its going to be inpossible for riders to drive home swap bikes and drive all the way back..... or hang around for a week waiting.
I think this is a BADDDDD call on the dates if that is correct. and should be fixed other wise you will get a lot or riders who cant do both, so numbers will be down for sure. JMO
If communication channels between clubs are open, they could put the Classic Titles 4 weeks apart ~If that helps the east coasters.
cheers

or you could just bring some tyres and use the same bike/bikes.
I wish they would get a wriggle on too as we need to get organised.
-
Mate tyres aint the problem we can't hang around for 5 days waiting for the cdt , we need to come home, but don't fancy another 13 hour drive to Nsw to do the Dt. This is going to hurt both titles I think as many like to do both and many come from interstate to fill the numbers. Bad call I reckon one needs to be shifted to another week away to give us room for rest, work and repairs. If your serious about entries
The mx is pencilled in for last week in sept and the cdt pencilled in for the first weekend in oct.
it too close

For those out of state, it gives plenty of time for planning and a choice of attending both events as some have suggested prevously.Though throw CD10 in and that's another big month of September for VMX. :P
cheers

That would make some sense if the events were close by but with the MX in Canberra and DT in Victoria there's still a fair bit of travel involved and then there's the financial double load, time off work, short maintenance time between events...yada, yada, yada. How do you spell stupid? ::)

mmmm Im not that good at spelling but I'll try MA am I right thats how stupid is spelt .?
