I remember that there was a yamaha DT2 mx for sale on ebay a few years back, his father bought the bike, and he did like it, I remember
talking with the owner about the bike when he was selling it at the time, you could say that the bike was nos, or close to it.

The Yamaha dealer in Geelong was Pratt & Osborne

Pratt and Ozborne were the suzuki dealer.Might've been Yamaha earlier than my time.I bought a brand new drz400 04 off them just before they shut shop, peter st#$%^s drove them out of town as well as buying out Gary Obrien Yamaha and killing Gary Adams Honda.

Geelong West., Honda was being sold by Winter & Taylor in Mercer St. and later Loyld Martin took honda over and he was in Moorabool st and after that Gary Adam sold honda in Mercer st near Gary O`Brien Yamaha.

Gary Obrien took over the yamaha dealership in the mid to late 80`s .

36M, Gary opened his first shop in 1981 (I started work for him the day he opened) and I think Pratt and Osbourne still retained Yamaha for a while after that. Gary Adams started in Moorabool st if I remember correctly.

By the way,  what has this got to do with a new DT2MX in a box?

Stan.

If I get some time (if-if-if), I'll pull them out of storage and photgraph them..

Any dirt bike kit you've ever seen or heard of, I've probably got at least one of...

The only one I know I haven't got is an old large scale Yamaha Dirt Track bike (twin cylinder thing) because I think it's ugly and have no interest in ever building it...  although I'll probably end up getting one at some stage..   ::)

Check this out, it's from a guy I know in the US - we were helping each other locate oddball kits about 7 or 8 years ago.
